The excess will be wavered if you buy the excess waiver option. The monetary excess and waiting period will be wavered for each section of your schedule of benefits where an excess may be due.

You can top up your baggage cover as follows:¹

• R25,000

Note: Once you select to increase your cover by any of the above amounts, Quotation and purchase engine will adjust the premium on the quote.

If your visa was denied. Charges you pay to the embassy to obtain a visa.

You can increase your Cover for a visa refund as follows:

• R 1,000
• R2,000
• R3,000
• R4,000
• R5,000

At your destination – You cut short your trip to return to South Africa. The benefit only applies if you have purchased your policy within 48 hours of making part or full payment.

You can increase your Cover for curtailment follows:

• R 5,000

Before you travel – The benefit only applies if you have purchased your policy within 48 hours of making part or full payment. You must cancel 48 hours before your departure date. Any time after that, you would not be eligible to cancel the trip under this benefit, unless you purchased the excess waiver option.

You can increase your Cover for cancellation for any reason follows:

Before you travel – You must cancel your trip due to a covered named reason. The maximum limit for COVID-19 is up to R40,000.
